Stanley’s Famous Pit Bar-B-Q in Tyler has been serving up the Mother Clucker for over a decade, and locals swear it’s still the best sandwich in Texas. What’s wild is the name came first—owner Nick Pencis wanted a chicken sandwich called the “Mother Clucker,” and his team built the flavors around that idea. Smoked chicken thigh, jalapeño cheese sourdough, fried egg, cheddar, spicy BBQ mayo, and if you go Cadillac Style, candied bacon and guac. It’s a bite of pure Texas pride.
