When people talk about the End Times, they always quote Jesus saying, "As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man." We assume that means the world will just be full of extreme violence and demonic stuff. But look at what Jesus ACTUALLY says next in Matthew 24:38: "They were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark." The primary sin wasn't just violence; it was APATHY. It was NORMALCY. People were so completely absorbed in their everyday routines, their careers, and their social lives that they completely ignored God's warnings until the flood swept them away.
