Bay Area Thrifting - Bargain Hunting at US Charity Shop
There are many charity shops in the U.S., also known as Charity Stores, Thrift Stores, Hospice Stores, etc. These small shops accept donated items from local residents, selling them at low prices. All proceeds go to charitable causes, and most of the staff in the store are volunteers! These stores are similar in nature to Goodwill but with better organization and cleanliness. My kid enjoys shopping around these charity shops because the items are cheap, yet unique and good for decorating our home. We've learned the best thrift shops are the old ones in old towns, where you can really find some gems! Today we visited a Thrift Store in Martinez, and here's what we found!
