Shaving Your Bikini Area Is Seriously the Worst Thing You Can Do For Your Hygiene

I swear I'm seeing so many articles and ads pushing people to go fully bare down there "for cleanliness," but the reality is the total opposite! Shaving creates a ton of tiny cuts and nicks, which are basically open doors for bacteria. Plus, you get all the irritation, the crazy amount of ingrown hairs, and you're removing the natural protective barrier (the hair itself!) that prevents friction and traps pathogens. It’s wild how much we’re conditioned to think "smooth" equals "clean." Has anyone else realized this and completely stopped using a razor?
