Before anyone jumps in to say roundabouts are more efficient, I get it—they can be! But in my small upstate New York town, most drivers seem to treat them like a racetrack. Lately, I’ve had a couple of close calls at these tiny roundabouts during rush hour. People speed through without looking, and it’s chaos trying to merge from the smaller lanes.
