How I Survived the Ides of March—And You Can Too!
Every March 15th, I feel a peculiar shiver—after all, it's the infamous Ides of March, the day Julius Caesar met his dramatic end! But who says we can't turn ancient betrayal into modern fun? 🍷
Last year, I toasted Caesar with a glass of watered-down wine (true Roman style!) and challenged my friends to a living room reenactment of Shakespeare's play. Spoiler: our Brutus forgot his lines, and we all collapsed in laughter. For lunch, I devoured a Caesar salad—ironic, since it’s not even named after him!
If you’re feeling bold, throw a toga party, serve grapes and honeyed desserts, and play a murder mystery game. Or binge-watch political dramas and marvel at how little has changed since Rome.
Did I get any Roman facts wrong? Let me know below! How would you celebrate—or survive—the Ides of March? Let's swap ideas and create our own epic traditions! 😏⚔️
