Maybe the Meaning Is Just to Exist and Feel—All of It

I had this realization during a psychedelic trip: maybe the point of life is simply to exist and feel, both the highs and the lows. At one point, we didn’t feel anything, so now we crave every experience—even the tough ones. But society keeps telling us we have to be something, so we start chasing meaning outside ourselves and forget to just feel. Maybe that’s why we reincarnate—to get another shot at truly living.
