I Tried a $650 Robot Litter Box So You Don’t Have To

Let’s be real: scooping cat litter is the worst part of pet parenthood. So when I saw the Leo’s Loo Too, a self-cleaning, app-controlled litter box that claims to zap germs with UV light and even weigh your cat, I thought, why not? Unboxing it felt like moving a small appliance into my living room. It’s huge, but the actual cat space inside? Weirdly tiny. My cat (average-sized, but with big opinions) stared at it like I’d installed a spaceship in his bathroom. It took two weeks, a lot of treats, and a suspicious amount of catnip before he’d even pee in it. Pros: No more scooping, less stink, and I get phone notifications about my cat’s bathroom habits (is this the future?). Cons: It’s expensive, needs its own corner, and your cat might not be impressed. Worth it if you hate cleaning—or just want to flex on your friends with a robot litter box. #CatLife #PetTech #LitterBox #Pets

Are Automatic Cat Feeders a Blessing or a Trap?

Let’s talk about automatic cat feeders—the gadgets that promise to save your sleep and sanity, but might just be plotting against you. On paper, they’re genius: set it, forget it, and your cat gets fed on time, every time. No more 5 a.m. face-pawing, no more guilt when you’re stuck at work. Plus, portion control is a game-changer if your floof is on a diet. But here’s the plot twist: feeders can break, run out of batteries, or just decide to go on strike. And if you have a dog? Good luck. Mine figured out how to ninja the kibble in under a week. Also, ants and cockroaches are apparently huge fans of these things. Bottom line: automatic feeders are amazing—until they’re not. If you try one, keep your expectations (and your snacks) guarded. Anyone else have a feeder horror story? #CatLife #PetTech #PetParenting #Pets
