Shifting gears to a different type of recommendation today! The best pet grooming salon in East Bay? Hands down, it's A Cut Above in Castro Valley! Huge props to Nathan for saving my little Bichon Frise who isn't the most photogenic. As a pet owner, you can tell the whole team genuinely loves animals. My pup always comes home relaxed after his grooming appointments here. That wasn’t the case at other salons we tried before, he'd come home very unhappy and super aggressive. From now on, both of my doggos are going to be entrusted to Nathan! He especially excels at grooming Poodles and Doodles and has bagged numerous grooming awards. Grooming services for small dogs, including wash, cut and blow-dry, run between $75 and $100, while it's $200 upwards for larger dogs, depending on the difficulty of hair management. The prices are a bit steep compared to competitors, but the service is honestly top-notch! Feel free to call if you're interested. Business hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 7am-4pm! Yes, you read it right!
