My Dog Invented the Paw Squeeze
So, apparently, my dog has decided that holding hands is for amateurs. Today, while I was minding my own business (scrolling through memes), she plopped her paw right onto my hand and gave it a gentle squeeze. Not a normal, casual paw rest—this was a full-on, intentional grip.
I looked at her, she looked at me, and for a second, I swear we understood each other on a cosmic level. Like, yes, I see you, and yes, you’re the best human I’ve got.
Is this what pet love is now? Random acts of affection that leave you both slightly confused but weirdly happy? I’m not complaining. 10/10 would recommend the paw squeeze.
Anyone else’s pet invent new ways to say “I love you” or is mine just extra?
