Why Is Spirituality Dismissed in Mental Health Spaces?

I recently got banned from a depression thread just for suggesting that spirituality and mindfulness could help. The moderator said anyone who brings up these topics is seen as crazy or pushing pseudoscience. Honestly, I’m shocked at how closed off some people are when it comes to new ways of healing. I get it—when you’re struggling, it’s easy to believe no one else understands. But shutting out every bit of advice can be just as harmful.
