Everyone posts the canyon shots—green cliffs, winding river, that perfect drone angle. But standing there, wind slicing through my jacket, I realized I didn’t feel awe. Just cold, and a little empty.
Maybe it’s the hours of driving, or the way Instagram makes every place look like it’ll change your life. But the truth is, some places are just quiet. No epiphany, no magic—just you, the wind, and the sound of your own boots on wet gravel.
I took the photo anyway. Never posted it. Sometimes the silence is the whole story.
