Rick And Morty+FollowI’m a Christian. And honestly? Some days it feels like I’m barely hanging on. I still lose my temper in traffic. I still scroll when I should be praying. I still catch myself worrying about money even after I just read ‘do not worry.’ I still feel distant from God and then beat myself up for feeling distant. It’s not pretty. It’s not the polished version people post. It’s me, messy and inconsistent, showing up anyway. But here’s what keeps me from quitting: Jesus didn’t pick perfect people. He picked fishermen who cursed, a tax collector everybody hated, and a guy who would deny Him three times. If He could use them, maybe He can still use me. So I keep coming back. Not because I have it all together, but because He does. Not because my faith is strong, but because His grip on me is. If you’re reading this and your walk with God feels more like stumbling than soaring… you’re not alone. You’re not failing. You’re just human. And He’s not shocked by any of it. Keep showing up messy. Keep coming back. That’s all He asks. ‘Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.’ (Matthew 11:28) That’s for people like us. #RealChristian #MessyFaith #StillShowingUp #Matthew1128183Share
xbaker+FollowMatthew 11:28 (NIV)— “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” When life feels too heavy and your heart can’t carry the weight anymore, Jesus doesn’t ask you to be strong — He simply invites you to stay close. In His presence, your chaos finds peace, and your weakness finds strength. 🌿 #Matthew1128 #StayWithJesus #JesusIsMyRest #FaithOverFear #GodsPeace #HopeInChrist #BibleVerseOfTheDay #ChristianInspiration #YouAreNotAlone #TrustHisHeart #JesusCares #ChristianMotivation10Share
