Did you see the wild projects at the MassRobotics Challenge? Northeastern’s team built a soft robotic arm that actually rotates and cleans plates (bye-bye, dish duty!). Waterloo’s crew designed a robotic gripper to help first responders in emergencies—so cool it snagged both 2nd place and the audience choice! UBC’s wildfire-fighting robot and BU’s tomato-picking bot also scored big. Some teams even got job offers on the spot.
