St. John’s Church: Rising from the Ashes

Can you believe it’s already been a month since that massive fire at St. John the Baptist Church in Maria Stein? The community is still reeling, but there’s hope—crews have managed to save some sacred items, like vestments and the tabernacle. Father Schnipke says those little wins are keeping everyone going, even though the road to recovery is going to be long. The priests can’t even live in the rectory for months!
