Ever felt like you're the only one talking? 😅 I totally get it! I've been there, stuck in awkward convos where it feels like pulling teeth. But guess what? I found some simple tricks that actually get people to open up—and it works every time! 🙌 Here’s what I do: • I create a safe, judgment-free space—promise, anything you share stays between us! • I put my phone away and really listen (eye contact is key!) • I ask about their day or weekend plans—everyone loves talking about themselves! • I notice their interests (like a cool hoodie) and ask about their hobbies • I ask for advice—people love to help, and it gets them sharing • I try the 2-question trick: one positive, one general • I repeat their last 3 words to show I’m listening • I stay calm and never act shocked—keeps things comfy • I share my own stories first to break the ice • I always show empathy—"I totally get that!"
