Caroline Carney+FollowThe Battle for Yard Dominance This time my family moved to a house that is my dream paradise, I had previously been phenomenal about owning a big yard that I would plant full of flowers and then live like a princess! But my husband wants to use the yard to grow food and organic vegetables! He says he especially misses living on a farm as a kid, and I really don't understand or want to give in to that! Much less do I want my big yard to turn into a half vegetable, half flower genetic mutant. Has this happened to any of you? Regardless, I'm going to argue my case and guard my garden this time! #Gardening #Patio #Lilies 80Share
ChirpyChickadee+Followwhat are these wild 7-foot lilies doing in my new backyard? So, I just moved into a new place and found these insane lilies towering over everything—like, seven feet tall! I’ve never seen flowers this dramatic. The previous owner must’ve had a green thumb, because these lilies are thriving. I started watering them every couple of days and made sure they got enough sunlight. Turns out, they love a little mulch at the base to keep the roots cool. I’m learning as I go, but watching these giants bloom has made me appreciate how rewarding gardening can be. If you ever inherit mystery plants, don’t be afraid to experiment. Sometimes, all they need is a bit of attention and some trial and error. Now, my backyard feels like a secret garden, and I’m hooked on seeing what pops up next! gardening #lilies #plantlife #newhome #backyard #gardening #lilies #plantlife #newhome #backyard161Share
