Surrending To God's Purpose Despite the Trauma #Powerless lesson 2 #CelebrateRecovery 👉 "Happy are those who know they are spiritual poor" Matthew 5:3 As humans, we often struggle to make sense of the pain and trauma we face. It can feel like our world is shattered, and we're left to pick up the pieces. But what if those broken pieces are exactly what God wants to use for His glory? Trauma & substance abuse can leave us feeling broken, unworthy, and unsure of our purpose. 👉 But God's love and purpose are not limited by our past or our pain. In fact, He often uses our brokenness to reveal His strength and beauty (2 Corinthians 12:9-10). Surrendering to God's purpose doesn't mean the pain disappears, but it means we trust Him to walk with us through it. It means we offer our broken pieces to Him, asking Him to mend and use them for His glory. #Reminder God is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). 👉He doesn't abandon us in our pain. He can turn our mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11). 👉 His purpose can bring joy and hope. #today 1. Acknowledge the pain...Bring your trauma to God in prayer. 2. Offer it to Him... Ask God to use your brokenness for His purpose. 3. Seek support... Surround yourself with people who point you to God. #Surrendering to God's purpose doesn't mean we've "got it all together." 👉It means we're trusting Him with what we don't understand. Lord, enable us to continue on our journey of recovery. It gets so hard sometimes and we can't do it alone. Thank you for your 🎗️ reminders in Your Word keeping us on track 🙏🙏🙏 #Amen #GodsWord #recovery102 #safeplace #celebrate #life #re

We are everything. We are everything, A state of grace. An essence of being, A Soul of existence... but we are more... The sun, the earth and the moon and all that is... Pondering this possibility leads to but One conclusion, We are a sum total of all of our thoughts and experiences, Our lives reflect our hearts desires. We have the methods of change within us, we have that love and happiness we seek, all wrapped up in a beautiful package within... We have the the hearts to love, The intelligence to look beyond And the capability to move ourselves in any direction we choose. We do not have the powers or the rights many claim, as saying these words, disempowers us... We are born to succeed, to live our life lessons, to choose and to allow... no special powers needed... no super human ideas needed, it is all within, already there... We are a sum of the whole, The piece of the part and we all fit and together... We are one, United by the common thread of Love and Happiness. We are all we desire to be, the loving kindness radiates within and outward... It is within One to choose that destination. What makes One's heart happy and radiates and resonates with One's Soul... We may be common, A mere mortal body, an Eternal Soul, But each has it's mission, it's purpose for being... No mistakes in life or Love, just lessons and learning... Learning to Love, to adapt, to survive and to become all One can be... No mistakes, no faults, just the way One was created, a person of beauty and incredible grace. As Always, Simply Marcus #beautiful #love #life #lovetoyou
