Zoo heartbreak: Kiko the giraffe’s tragic end

Kiko, a 13-year-old endangered Masai giraffe, died after getting caught in a door at the Toronto Zoo. He was exploring a new area while recovering from a hoof injury when the accident happened. Kiko was a big part of the zoo’s breeding program and leaves behind two calves (and one on the way).
