Play with your kids: Sour Candy at Home!

Making your own sour candy is honestly a blast, and Experience fun with your children! Here’s how to whip up a batch of homemade sour gummies: Mix 1 cup of fruit juice, 1/4 cup of sugar, and 3 tablespoons of gelatin in a saucepan. Let it sit for a few minutes to bloom. Heat the mixture on low, stirring until everything dissolves. Don’t let it boil! Pour the liquid into silicone molds. Pop them in the fridge for about an hour. Once set, remove the gummies and toss them in a mix of citric acid and powdered sugar for that extra pucker. It’s super satisfying to tweak the sourness to your own taste. Plus, you only need a candy thermometer if you’re making hard candies. Give it a try and see how much fun it is to make your own sour treats! #SourCandyDIY #HomemadeTreats #CandyMaking #Parenting #Recipe #Kids #Food #Cooking

This trick is for my veggie-hating little girl👧

Pureeing vegetables into sauces has been a real game changer for us. For tacos, I’ll blend carrots, zucchini, and even spinach into the tomato base before simmering with ground turkey and taco seasoning. The veggies disappear into the sauce, and the texture stays smooth, which makes it easier for my family member to eat. Another thing that’s worked is making veggie-based curries. I’ll cook down cauliflower, sweet potato, and bell peppers until they’re super soft, then blend them with coconut milk and curry paste. The result is a creamy sauce that’s full of flavor but doesn’t have any chunks. So far, she hasn't raised any objections. I guess I'm pulling off the disguise well. #SensoryFriendlyCooking #Veggies #Parenting #Kids #Recipes #Kitchen Hacks
