I always thought my cat was indifferent to basically everything—except food. Turns out, I was wrong. Last night, I brought home a ridiculously fluffy cat bed (yes, the kind Instagram cats nap in). I plopped it down, expecting her to ignore it like she does with every toy I’ve ever bought. Instead, she sniffed it, circled it like a tiny, suspicious shark, and then—no joke—dove in headfirst.
Cue five straight minutes of kneading, rolling, and making the weirdest happy chirps I’ve ever heard. She looked at me like, "Finally, you get it." I guess it only took three years and a small fortune in failed pet accessories.
Moral of the story: Sometimes, pets just need one thing to make them ridiculously happy. And sometimes, it’s not the expensive stuff—it’s the soft, squishy bed you almost didn’t buy.
