God literally orchestrated a mathematical impossibility Why? So that when the victory came, Israel couldn't boast that their own strength saved them. If you feel completely outmatched and under-resourced right now, you might be exactly where God wants you. He is setting the stage so that His grace is the only explanation for your survival.
