One video game cliché that really gets to me is how racing games almost always ignore real traffic rules. As someone who drives daily, I find it funny—and a bit annoying—when games let you speed through red lights or crash into other cars without any real consequences. In real life, these actions have serious outcomes, so I wish more games would add realistic penalties or even modes where you have to follow the rules.
