How I Survived a Weekend at My Friend’s House

Let me tell you about the last time I went to my friend Jamie’s house. You’d think after hanging out a dozen times, we’d run out of things to do, but nope—Jamie’s house is like a treasure chest of weird fun. We started with board games (I pretended not to care about winning, but I totally did), then moved on to video games, where Jamie crushed me so badly I considered blaming the controller. When the rain hit, we built a blanket fort that somehow ended up bigger than Jamie’s actual room. We even baked cookies, though half the dough mysteriously disappeared (don’t ask).
