Every time I order, there’s this little pop-up asking to rate the dasher, and honestly, I’m not sure it does anything. I always give a thumbs up if the food’s hot and the dasher’s friendly, but I can’t say I’ve noticed the same folks delivering more often. There’s a sea of drivers in my area, and it feels like everyone’s got five stars anyway. Even after years of dashing and grabbing every early slot I can, it’s still a fight to get decent orders. I’ve started chatting with the staff at my usual spots, and most of them don’t even glance at the dasher ratings. Makes me wonder if those thumbs up from stores are just for show.
Still, I keep hustling, hoping something will give me an edge. The only thing that’s consistent is the food—sometimes it’s a total letdown, sometimes it’s a surprise hit. But the rating system? Feels like it’s just background noise at this point.
