Missing My Son’s First Bath: A Mix of Emotions as a New Mom

Last night, my husband and mother-in-law gave our son his very first bath while I was out of the room. When I found out, I felt a swirl of emotions—pride that my little one was in loving hands, but also a deep pang of sadness that I missed such a special milestone.
