Is Teaching Right for Introverts? My Honest Journey 🌱
When I switched my major to secondary education, I felt like I’d found the perfect path—flexible hours, meaningful impact, and a life that wasn’t just rinse and repeat. But, as an introvert, I can’t help but wonder: am I cut out for this? I thrive in solitude, yet I do enjoy connecting with people I genuinely like. The thought of daily confrontations and constant interaction terrifies me! 😳
Is this just the classic case of imposter syndrome, or am I ignoring some glaring red flags? Has anyone else felt this tug-of-war between wanting to help and needing space? If you’ve walked this road, I’d love to hear your stories—good, bad, or hilariously awkward. Maybe we can all find comfort (or a reality check) together. Drop your wisdom, your warnings, or even your wildest classroom tales below! Let’s figure this out as a tribe. 🌻
P.S. If you spot any myths or misconceptions, call me out! I’m here to learn, and maybe, just maybe, we’ll all find the answers we’re searching for. 😉
