East Garfield Park neighbors finally have a cozy spot to grab coffee, brunch, or just hang out—Semaphore Cafe is opening right across from the park! After years of having to leave the area for a decent bite, residents now get a welcoming place designed for them, not just visitors. Expect fresh bagels, Dutch babies, and local coffee in a sunlit, plant-filled space that nods to the Conservatory next door. Owner Richard Weber, who moved here a year ago, wants Semaphore to be a true community hub, not a gentrification trigger.
