5 BSC in Dead Cells is where infection says hi. Your infection meter grows and caps at 500 — fill it, and you’re toast. The trick? Kill stuff. Clearing mobs slows the infection; ~20 regular enemies drop it a notch, elites cut half a bar, bosses by five, flasks by three. It’s all about balancing HP loss vs infection. Go too low on either, you’re dead. Shops sometimes sell “clean food”: blood vials (~20k gold), cough syrup (cuts 3 bars infection), chicken legs (half HP). Best bang for buck? Syrup + flask combo.
