My Cat Is My Daily Dose of Joy
Honestly, I used to think happiness was some big, elusive thing—like a dream job or a trip to Bali. Turns out, it’s a tiny furball who thinks my laptop is her personal throne. Every day, my cat reminds me that joy is ridiculously simple: a warm lap, a soft purr, and the occasional headbutt when I’m clearly not paying enough attention.
She doesn’t care if I’m in pajamas at 2pm or if my hair looks like I lost a fight with a tornado. She just wants to curl up next to me and nap like it’s her full-time job (which, honestly, it is).
If you’ve ever had a pet, you know what I mean. They don’t ask for much, but somehow, they give you everything. So yeah, nothing makes me happier than coming home to her judgmental little face. 10/10, would recommend adopting a tiny dictator.
