Spirit and Truth Theology: Jesus, God With Us Isaiah foretold: “The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel (which means ‘God is with us’)” (Isaiah 7:14 NLT). The name Immanuel literally means “With Us is God,” declaring His presence among His people. Zechariah adds: “I am coming to live among you… I will live among you, and you will know that the LORD of Heaven’s Armies sent me to you” (Zechariah 2:10–11 NLT). Here the LORD speaks of dwelling with His people, yet also says He is sent by the LORD—a mystery pointing to the divine nature of the Messiah. In the Hebrew text, Immanuel is written as two words, unlike other names. This unusual form hints at the extraordinary reality: God manifesting in human form to be with His people. Matthew records the angel’s words to Joseph: “She will give birth to a Son; and you shall name Him Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” Matthew explains, “All this took place so that what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet would be fulfilled… ‘They shall name Him Immanuel,’ which means, ‘God with us’” (Matthew 1:18–23 NASB20). John affirms: “The Word became human and made his home among us… The unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us” (John 1:14, 18 NLT). Paul declares: “For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body” (Colossians 2:9 NLT). Jesus is not merely God’s messenger—He is God Himself, dwelling among us, revealing the Father, and bringing salvation. For those who celebrate Christmas, this day is more than a birth remembrance; it is the celebration of the greatest gift ever given: God giving Himself to the world. Christian News Report: Christmas Market Attack Plot Foiled in Germany German authorities have confirmed the arrest of five men suspected of planning a terrorist attack on a Christmas market in southern Germany this month, marking the latest in a series of threats against Christian holiday gatherings in Europe. According to officials, the suspects were allegedly preparing a vehicle-ramming attack, a method used in previous assaults on Christmas markets that left innocent civilians dead or injured. The group included three Moroccan nationals, one Egyptian, and one Syrian. Authorities also stated that one of the suspects was a Muslim cleric affiliated with a mosque, who allegedly encouraged violence and urged followers to kill as many people as possible. The arrests were made before any attack could be carried out, due to heightened surveillance and counterterrorism efforts as Europe enters the Christmas season. Investigators believe the plot specifically targeted a public Christmas celebration, a recurring symbol of Christian faith and tradition across the continent. Christmas markets have increasingly required heavy security in recent years, as Christian holidays and gatherings have become repeated targets of extremist violence. Officials emphasized that vigilance remains high and that additional protective measures are being taken to safeguard families and worshippers during the holiday season. Christian leaders and believers are calling for prayer for peace, protection for the innocent, and wisdom for authorities, while reaffirming that fear will not silence faith or celebration of Christ’s birth. #christian #ChristianLiving #persecution

Christian Persecution Report: North Korean Toddler Sentenced to Life for Bible Possession A deeply disturbing case of religious persecution in North Korea has drawn renewed attention to the extreme dangers faced by Christians under the regime. Reports detail a 2009 incident in which an entire family was arrested solely for possessing a Bible. Shockingly, the family’s two-year-old child was sentenced to life imprisonment alongside his parents and sent to a political prison camp. North Korea remains one of the most hostile nations in the world toward Christianity. Possession of a Bible, participation in prayer, or any form of Christian worship is treated as a crime against the state. The regime views allegiance to Christ as a threat to absolute loyalty demanded by its leadership. Political prison camps are known for brutal conditions, including forced labor, starvation, physical abuse, and torture. Children imprisoned alongside their families are not spared from these conditions. Christians are often singled out for harsher punishment, as faith in God directly challenges the regime’s control and ideology. Human rights advocates and Christian leaders emphasize that this case is not isolated. Thousands of believers are believed to be imprisoned for their faith, many without trial or hope of release. The story serves as a sobering reminder that Christian persecution is not ancient history—it is a present reality. Believers around the world are being urged to remember the persecuted Church, pray for those suffering, and remain aware that the Bible—freely owned in the West—costs lives elsewhere. #Christian #korea #persecution

Holocaust Survivor Killed at Bondi Beach: A Tragic Reminder of Evil—and the Value of Every Life Sydney, Australia — Among the victims killed in the Bondi Beach attack was 87-year-old Holocaust survivor Alexander (“Alex”) Kleytman. Reports say he died shielding his wife, Larisa, as gunfire erupted—an act of protection that reflected the same instinct to preserve life that carried many survivors through history’s darkest chapters. For Christians, the death of a Holocaust survivor in a modern-day act of hatred is a sobering reminder that evil does not retire, and that humanity still needs redemption. Alex’s story underscores the sacred truth that every life bears God-given dignity—especially those who endured unimaginable suffering and still chose to live, love, and protect others. As the world mourns, believers are praying for comfort for the grieving, healing for the wounded, and justice for the innocent. In moments like this, the Church is called to be present—to weep with those who weep, to stand against hatred, and to point to the only lasting hope that outlives death: the resurrection life found in Christ. #bondibeach #christian #australia

Jenny McCarthy Reportedly Reflects on Faith After Charlie Kirk’s Death In the wake of the tragic and shocking death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, renewed conversations about faith, mortality, and repentance have surfaced across the cultural landscape. Among the stories circulating online is a report claiming that actress and television personality Jenny McCarthy experienced a deep spiritual reckoning following Kirk’s passing. According to faith-based and conservative media outlets, McCarthy has allegedly spoken in recent interviews about being profoundly shaken by the loss, describing it as a moment that caused her to reassess eternity, truth, and her relationship with God. These reports suggest she expressed a renewed commitment to Christ, framing the tragedy as a reminder that life is fragile and that spiritual foundations matter. At this time, these claims have not yet been independently confirmed by major mainstream news organizations, and no widely distributed full interview transcript has been released. As such, the story should be understood as reported testimony currently circulating within Christian and conservative media spaces, rather than a fully verified public declaration. Still, the broader theme resonates deeply within the Christian worldview: Scripture reminds believers that God often uses moments of loss and grief to awaken hearts, soften pride, and draw people back to Him. Throughout history, countless testimonies have emerged from tragedy—moments where death confronts the illusion of control and redirects attention to eternal things. If these reports are accurate, McCarthy’s story would stand as another example of how even public figures are not immune to spiritual conviction—and how God can use even the darkest moments. #Christian #JennyMcCarthy
