VE Day 80th: Big Silences & Even Bigger Parties

Mark your calendars—VE Day’s 80th anniversary is going all out! There’s a nationwide two-minute silence at noon on May 8, followed by a massive party at Horse Guards Parade (yep, it’s on BBC One). Expect Union flags everywhere, a military procession, and an epic RAF flypast over London. Oh, and pubs get to stay open two hours later—cheers to that!
