Dog Grooming in East Bay ❤️

Shifting gears to a different type of recommendation today! The best pet grooming salon in East Bay? Hands down, it's A Cut Above in Castro Valley! Huge props to Nathan for saving my little Bichon Frise who isn't the most photogenic. As a pet owner, you can tell the whole team genuinely loves animals. My pup always comes home relaxed after his grooming appointments here. That wasn’t the case at other salons we tried before, he'd come home very unhappy and super aggressive. From now on, both of my doggos are going to be entrusted to Nathan! He especially excels at grooming Poodles and Doodles and has bagged numerous grooming awards. Grooming services for small dogs, including wash, cut and blow-dry, run between $75 and $100, while it's $200 upwards for larger dogs, depending on the difficulty of hair management. The prices are a bit steep compared to competitors, but the service is honestly top-notch! Feel free to call if you're interested. Business hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 7am-4pm! Yes, you read it right! You can drop off your pup as early as 7am, the earliest opening hours of all the grooming salons I’ve been to! 🚩A Cut Above Grooming Salon 2536 San Carlos Ave, Castro Valley, CA 94546 #DogGrooming #EastBay #ACutAbove #CastroValley #PetGrooming #PoodleGrooming #DoodleGrooming #GroomingSalon

Hitting up Cafe 4• Having a Gibraltar at the Sacred Church 👀

3Crosses Church is a landmark in Castro Valley! I always see its huge cross from the highway, and today is my first time up close. Found out it's not just a church, but also has a gym, a school, and a café - it's a great space for chillin' in a beautiful and peaceful environment. The little café in the church, Cafe 4, is pretty good. On the menu is a not-so-common name "Gibraltar". Googled it and directly translated, it's "Gibraltar". At first, I thought it's coffee from Gibraltar itself 🤣! When I got my coffee, it looked a bit like an Espresso in such a small cup! Found out that it's actually pretty significant, originally created by the famous Blue Bottle Coffee and named after the Libbey Gibraltar glass cup, with 2 shots of Espresso + 2 Oz Milk. Taste lies between a Latte and a Macchiato - bitter, rich, and aromatic. High in caffeine, so it's super refreshing. If you haven't tried it, give it a shot, best paired with sweet bread to balance the bitterness! 📍 Cafe 4 20600 John Dr, Castro Valley, CA 94546 #Cafe4 #SacredChurch #Gibraltar #CastroValley #coffee #chillin #refreshing #coffeelovers
