Nearly two years have passed, and Buckie is still waiting for his moment. This terrier mix has spent most of his life in our adoption center, growing, learning, and quietly hoping that someone will choose him. With the guidance of our behavior team, Buckie has blossomed, showing just how devoted and affectionate he can be once he feels safe.
Now he’s ready for what comes next: a patient, experienced adopter who can offer consistency, continue his training, and give him the calm environment he thrives in. Buckie would love a quiet neighborhood, a fully fenced yard, and a home with older children. He may be shy at first, but the deep connections he’s formed with his trainers are proof of the incredible bond he’s ready to share with the right person.
