Bridge chaos on Chicago’s South Side

A routine Monday afternoon turned wild on the Bishop Ford Expressway when a semi slammed into the Norfolk Southern Bridge, sending its trailer flying onto a garbage truck in the next lane. Imagine being stuck in traffic, only to see a trailer topple right in front of you! One driver ended up in the hospital, while the other walked away. The mess shut down all but one lane, backing up traffic until crews cleared the scene. Has anyone else noticed how often these bridge strikes happen around here?
