Auburn freshman’s big heart shines in Anniston

AnQuon Fegans, Auburn’s freshman safety, just made the holidays brighter for 177 kids at Constantine Head Start in Anniston—bringing toys, Santa, and even lunch for teachers, all through his nonprofit, Newboy Athletics. What’s even more inspiring? Fegans grew up in this community and says giving back is his way of showing gratitude and being a positive role model. His parents help organize, but they say it’s all AnQuon’s idea. It’s not every day you see a college athlete using his platform to lift up the place that raised him.
