At 3 years old, he’s the perfect age: playful, loving, and past the puppy stage. He’s potty and crate trained, knows basic commands, walks great on and off leash, and rides calmly in the car. He’s had a full health check and comes with all his vet records. Jack truly loves being close to his people. He’ll come with his toys, smart collar, and white furniture-style crate. It’s heartbreaking to watch a family surrender their puppy because their new home won’t allow dogs. That’s how Prince came to us. As they walked away, this 9-month-old Sheepadoodle stood there, then softly whined while looking in the direction they left… waiting for them to come back. They didn’t. Prince is a small-to-medium sized pup who’s scared and confused right now, but incredibly sweet and loving. He just needs someone to choose him again. Meet Chilli is (1.5yr old, male Maltese, 4lbs) This sweet little angel was rescued from a puppy mill last winter. For the first time in his life, he is learning what it feels like to be safe, loved, and cared for. Chilli has the most gentle and loving personality. He loves people and happily greets everyone he meets. When someone gives him attention, his little face lights up with happiness. He is great with other small dogs and has a very easygoing nature. Chilli rides well in the car, walks nicely on leash, and enjoys quiet time close to his people. All Chilli wants now is a forever home where he can feel loved every day. Pretty Mama is a female maltipoo born around 3/2025. She is just under 13 Ibs and so full of joy, she loves everyone and is happy to meet new people. Mama is so much happiness and energy. She does have a heart murmur, a loud one at that but it does not seem to bother her at all, as a matter of fact she was spayed and did well with that as well. She has had a rough life, streets, shelter, short term adoption with someone who was not prepared for long term dog ownership and nothing brings her down. She will need training to calm and someone who can spend lots of time with her. Meet Toast 🐾 One of the newest little souls to join the Barks of Love family. Toast didn’t have the easiest start. He spent his entire life living in a trailer with more than 10 other dogs, never really knowing what it felt like to have space, attention, or the comforts of a loving home. But that chapter is behind him now. Toast is safe in a foster home where he’s slowly learning that the world can be kind.
