Psalm 119:11 No distractions…we’re in the quiet of the day, or as described in Genesis, when Adam walked with Him in the cool of the morning, we seek Him. Our faces lifted up to the heavens, and we pray His Word back to Him… “With my whole heart have I sought You, inquiring for and of You and yearning for You; O let me not wander or step aside, either in ignorance or willfully, from Your commandments. Your word have I laid up in my heart, that I might not sin against You“. As promised, He’s right here. Psalm 119 begins, reminding us we’re blessed in uprightness, we’re blameless in His revealed will as we walk, ordering our conduct and conversation according to His will…His law. We are blessed when we keep His testimonies, craving Him with all our heart. The challenge isn’t in our quiet place, and we wholeheartedly acknowledge Him as our first love…our priority. It’s when we step out into the world, we become distracted, fighting to keep the strength He’s already given us, and to hear the words, His words we’ve stored in our hearts. So, we ask Him for help… Lord, remind us to follow Your lead, and wherever we are, to remember what You’ve already given us… keep us from evil for we
