Between financial stress and family issues, I have felt completely surrounded this week. I woke up with that heavy, sinking feeling in my chest that everything is doomed and nobody is coming to help me. Then I read 2 Kings 6. Elisha’s servant wakes up, goes outside, and sees an entire enemy army with horses and chariots completely surrounding their city. He panics and screams, "Oh no, my lord! What shall we do?" Elisha doesn't panic. He just prays, "Lord, open his eyes so he may see." Suddenly, God shifts the servant's vision into the spiritual realm. He looks up and sees that the hills surrounding the enemy army are absolutely swarming with terrifying horses and chariots of pure, divine fire.
