1 John 3:16 And…John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him would have eternal life”. “We know that we have passed over out of death to Life by the fact that we love the brethren…”. Love comes full circle, out of a changed heart, having come face to face with the God of Love. How do we come to know the love He has for us… is it when we consider the sacrifice that marks the immeasurable depth? Is it when Humility reveals the truth about who we are in Him? Is it when we say ‘I do’ to Jesus, and prepare ourselves for the ‘wedding’? How do we respond to our Creator … ‘Who am I that He is mindful of me…”. How does what He’s done for us change us… change who we are? Do we make selfless personal sacrifices for others with no expectation of ‘pay back’? He’s set us aside, for Himself, for His purpose, do we know what that is… yet? What is our basis for personal sacrifice… does it extend only to immediate family? Or do we give our ‘all’ when He asks us to, for someone He wants to bless with His Mercy and Grace… through us? He showed us how, He tells us when… Lord, prepare our hearts to love like You do, fill us to overflowing with Your Strength and Courage to accomplish Your Will, find us as willing sacrifices, Holy and pleasing to You.
