It's that time of year when we celebrate All Saints' Day and remember the faithful believers who came before us. Thinking about their legacies always brings my mind to Deuteronomy 34. Moses spent 40 miserable years leading complaining, stubborn people through a lethal desert. But because of one moment of anger where he struck the rock, God told him he would not enter the Promised Land. God takes an old, tired Moses to the top of Mount Nebo, lets him look at the beautiful land of Canaan from a distance, and then God literally buries him there on the mountain. It seems so unfair. But hereβs the truth: the physical land was never the ultimate reward. God Himself was the reward. Moses didn't get to step into earthly Canaan, but he stepped directly into the presence of the Creator. We are just planting seeds for a harvest we might not see. #AllSaintsDay #Deuteronomy34 #FaithfulServant #LegacyOfFaith #Moses
