Psalm 100:5 Breathe…just breathe. Let the distractions of a to-do list and what happened yesterday…Let it all fade away. We step into His throne room, we focus on His face and the love that surrounds Him…we let it draw us in…close. We get comfortable, we’re going to stay a while. The silence, it’s like His Word mixing with our life blood as it flows in and through us, Truth fills us to overflowing and prepares us, strengthens us for whatever comes next. Fear collapses as our vision sharpens, we look into His eyes and for just a moment we know what our eternity will be like. Perfect Joy…Perfect Peace. And then it breaks forth… when we walked in, we thought we were alone with Him, but then we hear them. We join with them… Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God, Almighty, Who’s was and is and is to come. He alone is worthy of all the power, glory and Dominion. To Him Who sits on the throne, we give Him all the praise, all the honor, all the worship. We crumble at His feet in Thanksgiving. No matter what our physical condition, what the flesh experiences or goes through, nothing can compare with being in the presence of El Elyon…God Most High, El Shaddai… The All Sufficient One. He reads our hearts… Do we wait all week to bring Him our thanksgiving and praise? Do we limit our time, putting constraints around our offering? Do we wait until we can do it in corporate worship? Can we live every moment in praise and thanksgiving? How is it possible to have an attitude of praise and thanksgiving when our flesh is in pain or our hearts are suffering? We know through experience, this time in the throne room strengthens us for what is and what’s yet to come. Lord, we’re thankful for the good things and for the hard ones. Help us to move forward in a spirit of thanksgiving, reminding us, throughout our day, to embrace, with thanksgiving, whatever You have for us.
