BOND REVOKED: TONY PRICE BACK IN CUSTODY New court records explain why Tony Joseph Price, 20, is back in custody in the Morgan County child abuse case. Price had been released on an OR bond with strict conditions: house arrest, no contact with the juvenile victim, and no discussing the case with co-defendants. Prosecutors allege Price violated those conditions by discussing the case with co-defendants and attempting to contact the juvenile through PlayStation text chat. They also allege he threatened to cut off his ankle monitor and run, made threats against co-defendants, and made serious threats involving the juvenile victim. On August 4, Judge John A. Wells revoked Price’s bond and issued a bench warrant. The court also noted Price had not yet been indicted and ordered prosecutors to present the case to a grand jury by August 19 if they intend to proceed.
