Lexington Police Department is not providing any answers regarding Tyler Smith’s death as many are ruling that this isn’t a self inflicted gunshot wound. Mr. Smith’s phone had also appeared to be missing. According to family members and others, there were no signs or reports of Tyler ever wanting to harm himself or wanting to commit suicide. Tyler did graduate from high school and had a good life surrounded by family and friends. The investigation into this is still ongoing according to the Lexington Police Department. They are unable to provide any information while the investigation continues. While the investigation continues, they have not provided updates to the family regarding the ruling of Tyler death. They also have not provided hardly any information or updates regarding this incident. This case also includes the citation of Bryce Chestnut as the citation ruled the individual was tampering with evidence that lead to his arrest.
