Intimidation does not come from God. The Bible promotes a sense of boldness rather than intimidation. For instance, Hebrews 4:16 encourages believers to approach God’s throne with confidence to receive grace. Similarly, 2 Timothy 1:7 highlights that God provides a spirit of power and love, steering believers away from fear. In Nehemiah chapter 6, we see how Nehemiah faced relentless attempts from his enemies—Sanballat, Tobiah, and Geshem—to undermine his efforts in rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem. Despite their tricks and threats, Nehemiah remained focused and completed the wall in just 52 days, demonstrating the power of perseverance in the face of intimidation. Believers often encounter similar tactics from the enemy, who seeks to distract and discredit us daily. When we walk with the Lord, the enemy's goal is to divert our attention from God's plan. It is crucial to keep our focus on God, who will guide us through challenges. I once faced a situation involving intimidation where someone tried to impose their views on me, creating a fearful atmosphere. I had to choose between succumbing to their mental control or seeking freedom through God's word. After praying and seeking the Lord, I found the strength to move forward with His help. As believers, we must resist allowing others to use manipulative tactics against us, as Proverbs 29:25 warns that the "fear of man brings a snare," but trusting in the Lord ensures safety. In our faith journey, it's important to remember that confusion comes from the enemy, not God. If you sense the enemy trying to take hold in your life, seek refuge and deliverance in the Lord.
