Disaster Meteorologist warns “A Truly Dangerous Storm Is Coming” that will be felt by over 100 million people By Mark Harris, 20 hrs ago Survival Survival World Follow https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=3US949_1COpViRI00 Meteorologist Max Schuster is warning that a dangerous severe weather outbreak is expected to unfold across parts of the central and eastern United States this week, bringing the risk of very large hail, destructive winds, and multiple strong tornadoes. In a forecast for Max Velocity – Severe Weather Center, Schuster said a strengthening storm system will pull deep moisture northward while powerful winds build overhead, creating the kind of environment that can support intense thunderstorms over several days. “A dangerous severe weather outbreak is coming,” Schuster said, adding that the impacts could be felt by more than 100 million people as the storm produces several rounds of severe weather from the Midwest into the Ohio Valley, Great Lakes, and Northeast. The most serious part of the forecast centers on Wednesday, but Schuster said Tuesday and Thursday also deserve attention, while the Gulf Coast may face a separate flooding concern later in the week if tropical development tries to organize. Tuesday Brings A Conditional Severe Threat Schuster said Tuesday’s severe weather risk is not expected to be the biggest event of the week, but it should not be ignored because the atmosphere may still support all hazards in parts of the Midwest and Great Lakes. A large marginal risk is in place for areas including Chicago, Indianapolis, Detroit, Kalamazoo, and Lansing, according to Schuster’s forecast. He described the threat as “fairly conditional,” meaning storms may not be widespread everywhere, but any stronger cells that do form could produce damaging winds, large hail, or even a couple of tornadoes.
