Technology Verizon Rolls Out Major Overhaul for Wireless Plans: Addressing Consumer Frustrations By Terrell Smith, 17 hrs ago Mens Mens Journal Follow It’s always nice when leading corporations decide to address consumers’ frustrations. Case in point, Verizon decided to listen and do something after research showed that Americans, by and large, are tired of having to wade through complex decisions and are actively seeking ways to save money. As of June 16, the wireless provider has unveiled a major overhaul of its current offerings for consumers, including two changes that have been a big point of contention for customers for years. The new option allows customers to enroll in the plan and gives them the freedom to customize it as they see fit. So people don’t have to necessarily pay for things they don’t want. For example, if you’re a movie and TV buff, the “For Movie and Show Lovers Bundle” can be customized into your plan and includes access to Disney+, Hulu, ESPN (with ads), Netflix, and HBO Max. Additionally, Verizon is offering an initial promotional offer of $30 per line for mobile customers who leave their current provider for Verizon. Customers can opt to join Verizon’s Simplicity Plan with their own device, purchase a new one, or buy a certified pre-owned phone.
