We all say what we would do... but its different when its actually you. A huge windfall of money.. especially after getting payed for so many years every week or every two weeks, the same salary is nothing to joke around with. Think about it, if you say you would have invested and blah blah blah, with all this Jeff Bezos crap talk... then why are yall still working.

That's scary to invest in other people's real estate. With that much money you could've bought your own land and added those tiny homes and rented them out. I would do this before I ever invest in any type of rental properties that has been previously owned, with nasty tenants with bad housekeeping practices.

Assuming it was $12.7m that could have EASILY been set up to make a bare minimum of $381,000 a year (3% APY) in a high yield savings account. Even just setting aside $10m would net $300k a year plus leave $2.7m as disposable cash. I know people say they have ‘money issues’ it’s more financial stupidity and lack of self control. Seriously… with the $2.7m buy a house in the $200k-$500k range (if you don’t have a house or want to keep your current arrangement), decide if you want a new vehicle $25k-$300k, buy some miscellaneous things you always wanted $10k-$150k. Thats $235k-$950k leaving $1.75m-$2.465m for travel, luxury vacations, activities, helping friends/family, investments, starting a business… if anyone receives over $15m after taxes they can be set up for life and potentially build generational wealth. Budget yourself try and spend less than $125k a year from the $300k interest and let it compound over time.
