Take it from me, the system has been flawed from the beginning! In the old western days people were gunned down in the street today if your a person of color it’s the same thing, research it you’ll be amazed, do police go to jail? Yes but only till the story dies down, then their released on “ work release”

He lost so much of his life for something he did not do! Yes, he may get compensation. But it will never make up for the years lost. Tragic. 🙏🏼

What happens next, compensation, what happens to the victim, she loses peace of knowing her rapist is free, yet she is also made aware that her memory is the situation failed her as the wrong person was incarcerated, this is horrible for everyone

I tell you what it’s all about being a human being and being put away in a huge cage like a animal for almost 4 decades and the whole time this young man was innocent all I am asking the world to let this man get back in track now and forget the pass he will be trying to make up the time with his family and friends if they’re still alive and care for him God Bless you with your new journey ahead of you .

We absolutely need to make a law when we have charged a person and put them in prison and later find we were wrong ! We need to be held accountable, they need to publicly get an apology and should have automatic housing and some money to get back in there feet. There will never be enough money to make up for such a bad thing but to just say , oh we’re sorry go away now is wrong ! Some have lost everything and everyone and no longer know how to act in the real world ! Literally I asked a judge to look up this guys charges of child rape and she came down from her bench put her finger in my face and told me she would not and I should be ashamed of myself ! Gave full custody of my 6 yr old to him , who then on the way out of the court house said if I ever brought it up again he would make sure my kid fell off his skate board and busted his head open! He meant it ! He also was guilty he had just expunged his child rape charge so I was not able to get it. Anyway this judge was wrong!

Judges need to be held accountable when playing with another person’s life. Literally every day after that 16 yrs I went crazy not being able to help him or know what was happening! It made me crazy. Literally

We should be prioritizing our funds to do DNA Testing in every single case where it is available. These people falsely accused and Imprisoned need to come home 😢😢😢😢
