“I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE” What Jesus is and does in our relationship with God is the bread. Anything we bring to try to secure or maintain the divine relationship is the yeast. Yeast makes us look and taste pretty spiritual to others, compells them to striving and even to jealousy, nit picking, fault finding and rivalry but it adds nothing to the all sufficiency of the Bread. Not to mention what we bring to the divine relationship glorifies ourselves and does nothing to glorify God. “A little yeast will end up working its way through the entire lump.” JESUS in us + NOTHING = THE UNYEASTED BREAD OF LIFE
